Description
Skills in a Box is a box full of skills designed by a pediatric Occupational Therapist.
Our Cutting box is designed to promote an essential and important skill in the most playful way possible.
Cutting skills are fundamental for child development as it impacts fine motor control, handwriting, academic learning, and independence in completing activities of daily living.
Children can and should start practicing scissor skills at age 2, under supervision, assuming they follow the appropriate developmental track. A child should have adequate posture, bilateral coordination, hand strength, and eye-hand coordination, in order to efficiently cut with scissors.
Your box comes with all the materials you need to complete all activities.
Items may vary slightly from box to box, thus the picture will not exactly represent the ‘Skills in a Box’ you’ll receive.
