Why it helps
This activity helps in developing pincher grasp as well as motor planning and sequencing.
Draw a simple picture or shape on an index card, then use the hole puncher to punch holes along its outline.
Give the child a lace and show him/her the proper sequence to lace these holes.
Have the child lace the picture without skipping any hole.
