The Tiny Pom-Pom Tree Grove

Steps:

Use a pair of scissors to cut small, three-inch circles from your cardboard pieces.
Have your child use the hole puncher to click a single hole right in the center of every circle.
Slide one pipe cleaner through the hole and twist the bottom so the tree stands up tall.
Bend the top of the pipe cleaner into several little branches that point in different directions.
Ask your child to pick up a colorful pom-pom using only their thumb and pointer finger.
Carefully set the pom-pom on a branch so it stays perfectly balanced without any glue.
Challenge them to see how many pom-poms they can add to their tiny forest!

Safety Tip:
Pom-poms are a choking hazard. Please supervise your child closely and ensure they do not put them in their mouth.

The Rainbow Hand Weaver

Steps:

Trace your child’s hand onto a sturdy piece of cardboard using a marker.
Use a hole puncher to make one hole at the tip of each finger and one at the wrist.
Tie a long piece of colorful yarn to the hole at the wrist.
Show your child how to thread the yarn through the thumb hole first.
Encourage them to weave the yarn back to the wrist and then up to the next finger.
Continue until every finger is connected to the wrist with a beautiful yarn bridge.

The Paper Plate Pulley

Steps:

Use the hole puncher to make one hole in the middle of your paper plate.
Tape the paper plate to the top of a stable door frame using masking tape.
Thread your string through the hole you made in the plate.
Use the hole puncher to make two small holes near the rim of your paper cup.
Tie one end of the string through the holes in the cup to make a handle.
Fill the cup with a handful of beans to act as cargo.
Stand below the plate and pull the loose end of the string to lift the cup.
Try to lower the cup slowly to the floor without letting it drop or crash!

The Cup Ring Connector

Steps:

Use markers to draw three colorful dots around the rim of each paper cup.
Hold the cup steady with your helper hand while you use the hole puncher.
Squeeze the puncher hard to make a hole right on top of each marker dot.
Take a pipe cleaner and slide it through a hole in the first cup.
Slide the other end of the pipe cleaner into a hole in a second cup.
Twist the ends of the pipe cleaner together to lock the cups together!
Keep adding more cups and pipe cleaners to build a long, bendy cup train.

The Royal Cardboard Cuff

Steps:

Help your child use scissors to cut a paper roll into three wide rings.
Use the hole puncher to make several holes around the edge of one ring.
Let your child decorate the cardboard rings with colorful markers.
Tie one end of the yarn to a hole on the ring.
Ask your child to thread the yarn through the other holes, adding beads as they go.
Tie a knot at the end to secure the royal cuff.
