Sponge Boat Spray Race

Steps:

  • Use scissors to cut a small triangle from the construction paper to act as your sail.
  • Decorate the paper sail with colorful markers or crayons.
  • Poke a toothpick through the top and bottom of the paper triangle to mount the sail.
  • Gently push the bottom of the toothpick into the top of the sponge.
  • Fill your aluminum foil pan halfway with water.
  • Place your new sponge boat into the water at one end of the pan.
  • Squeeze the trigger style spray bottle to shoot water at the sail, racing the boat to the other side!
