Foil Maze Marble Glide

Steps:

Lay out the aluminum foil pan on a flat table.
Take three pipe cleaners and bend them into curvy, wavy lines.
Use masking tape to secure the pipe cleaners inside the pan as walls.
Place a marble at one end of the winding path.
Use a pointer finger to gently push the marble through the maze.
Try to keep the marble inside the pipe cleaner borders the whole time.
When you finish, tilt the pan to roll the marble back to the start.

Safety Tip:
Marbles are a significant choking hazard. Constant and direct adult supervision is required. Ensure all marbles are collected and stored out of reach after the activity.

Baking Cup Coin Balance

Steps:

Fill the Aluminium Foil Pan halfway with clear water.
Place one Baking Cup carefully onto the water surface.
Use a pincer grasp to pick up one coin.
Gently drop the coin into the center of the cup.
Continue adding coins to see how many it carries.
Try to keep the cup from tipping or sinking.

Foil Grip & Transfer

Steps:

Pour water into a small bowl. Add a drop of food coloring to make it a fun color.
Drop the cotton balls into the colored water until they are fully soaked and heavy. Place the wet balls inside the Aluminium Foil Pan.
Hold the foil pan firmly steady with your helper hand to keep it stable on the table.
Use the tongs to pick up one heavy, wet cotton ball at a time. Encourage your child to squeeze the tongs hard to grasp the slippery material.
Carefully lift the wet cotton ball and transfer it to the empty plastic container. Drop it inside the target.
Repeat this squeezing and transferring action until the foil pan is completely empty. Count how many successful transfers were made!

Foil Sticker Pierce Track

Steps:

Secure a piece of cardboard firmly inside the bottom of the aluminum foil pan using masking tape. This adds stability.
Place 8 to 10 small stickers (like dot stickers) randomly onto the surface of the foil. Use your pincer grasp to peel them.
Hold the aluminum foil pan firmly steady with your non-dominant hand (the helper hand).
Pick up one craft stick. Hold the stick like a strong pencil in your dominant hand.
Aim the tip of the stick directly at a sticker target. Use a strong, controlled push to pierce the sticker and the foil completely.
Repeat this forceful piercing action until all the sticker targets have been smashed and pierced through.

Foil Moat Precision Drop

Steps:

Place the aluminum foil pan on the table. Use the playdough to create thick walls or ‘dams’ inside the pan, leaving narrow paths or ‘moats’ between them.
Mix a small amount of water with a drop of food coloring in the container to make your ‘magic potion.’
Show your child how to hold the eyedropper using their thumb and pointer finger (a strong pincer grasp).
Challenge your child to squeeze the eyedropper bulb to suck up the colored water.
Now, carefully aim the dropper over a moat. Encourage them to squeeze gently to release the water into the narrow path without letting it flood the playdough dam.
Repeat this process until all the moats are filled with colorful water. Encourage them to hold the foil pan steady with their helper hand while they work.
