Steps:

  • Fill the aluminium foil pan with a thick layer of shaving cream. Spread it out to cover the whole bottom.
  • Sprinkle a handful of colorful sequins all over the foam. Use your fingers to push them down so they are hidden.
  • Give your child the tongs and the empty plastic container.
  • Ask your child to use the tongs to search through the foam and find the hidden gems.
  • Once they find a sequin, they must pick it up and drop it into the plastic container.
  • See if they can find all the colors of the rainbow!

Safety Tip:
Shaving cream can be irritating to the eyes. Always supervise closely. Ensure your child does not place the shaving cream or sequins in their mouth. Wash hands thoroughly after play.

Steps:

  • Draw a winding maze on a piece of sturdy Cardboard.
  • Trace the path with Glue and stick Yarn on top.
  • Once dry, place the Cardboard inside an Aluminium Foil Pan.
  • Turn the pan over so the Cardboard is underneath.
  • Ask your child to press the foil using their pointer finger.
  • Follow the raised yarn bumps to finish the maze!

Always supervise your child while they are using small materials like yarn and glue.

Steps:

  • Lay out the aluminum foil pan on a flat table.
  • Take three pipe cleaners and bend them into curvy, wavy lines.
  • Use masking tape to secure the pipe cleaners inside the pan as walls.
  • Place a marble at one end of the winding path.
  • Use a pointer finger to gently push the marble through the maze.
  • Try to keep the marble inside the pipe cleaner borders the whole time.
  • When you finish, tilt the pan to roll the marble back to the start.

  • Fill the Aluminium Foil Pan halfway with clear water.
  • Place one Baking Cup carefully onto the water surface.
  • Use a pincer grasp to pick up one coin.
  • Gently drop the coin into the center of the cup.
  • Continue adding coins to see how many it carries.
  • Try to keep the cup from tipping or sinking.

Steps:

  • Pour water into a small bowl. Add a drop of food coloring to make it a fun color.
  • Drop the cotton balls into the colored water until they are fully soaked and heavy. Place the wet balls inside the Aluminium Foil Pan.
  • Hold the foil pan firmly steady with your helper hand to keep it stable on the table.
  • Use the tongs to pick up one heavy, wet cotton ball at a time. Encourage your child to squeeze the tongs hard to grasp the slippery material.
  • Carefully lift the wet cotton ball and transfer it to the empty plastic container. Drop it inside the target.
  • Repeat this squeezing and transferring action until the foil pan is completely empty. Count how many successful transfers were made!

Constant and direct adult supervision is required. Small cotton balls can be a choking hazard if ingested. Ensure the child only handles the materials with the tongs or fingers and keeps them away from their mouth.
