Plate Tilt Button Slide

Steps:

  • Use a piece of masking tape to make a small tunnel on one side of the paper plate.
  • Place two colorful buttons on the plate.
  • Ask your child to hold the plate with both hands.
  • Challenge them to tilt the plate back and forth.
  • They must guide the buttons so they slide through the tape tunnel.
  • Try to see how many times they can slide the buttons through without them falling off.

Steps:

  • Roll four or five large balls of playdough with both hands.
  • Press the playdough balls onto a table to create stable pillars.
  • Lay a craft stick across two playdough pillars to make a bridge.
  • Pick up one button using your thumb and pointer finger.
  • Carefully place the button on the narrow craft stick bridge.
  • See how many buttons you can stack before the bridge tips!

Bumpy Bubble Marble Slide

Steps:

  • Lay a sheet of Bubble Wrap flat on a table with the bubbles facing down.
  • Secure all four corners with Masking Tape to keep it from moving.
  • Place a marble under the wrap at one corner.
  • Use your index finger to press on top of the wrap.
  • Guide the marble through the tiny paths between the bubbles.
  • Try to reach the opposite corner without popping any bubbles!
  • Use your other hand to push the marble back to the start.

Marbles are a significant choking hazard. Constant and direct adult supervision is required. Ensure all marbles are collected and stored safely after play.

Foamy Pan Treasure Search

Steps:

  • Fill the aluminium foil pan with a thick layer of shaving cream. Spread it out to cover the whole bottom.
  • Sprinkle a handful of colorful sequins all over the foam. Use your fingers to push them down so they are hidden.
  • Give your child the tongs and the empty plastic container.
  • Ask your child to use the tongs to search through the foam and find the hidden gems.
  • Once they find a sequin, they must pick it up and drop it into the plastic container.
  • See if they can find all the colors of the rainbow!

Safety Tip:
Shaving cream can be irritating to the eyes. Always supervise closely. Ensure your child does not place the shaving cream or sequins in their mouth. Wash hands thoroughly after play.

Mystery Yarn Foil Maze

Mystery Yarn Foil Maze

Steps:

  • Draw a winding maze on a piece of sturdy Cardboard.
  • Trace the path with Glue and stick Yarn on top.
  • Once dry, place the Cardboard inside an Aluminium Foil Pan.
  • Turn the pan over so the Cardboard is underneath.
  • Ask your child to press the foil using their pointer finger.
  • Follow the raised yarn bumps to finish the maze!
