This therapy mat is unique as it is flexible enough to fold and roll inside it. We’re using the therapy mat to make a burrito and roll the child inside to provide both proprioceptive and vestibular input.

The vestibular system is the first of the sensory systems to develop in uterus. This fun roll, crawl, and jump activity provides vestibular input and can be easily done at home.

This obstacle course helps in providing light proprioceptive input through lifting and carrying and through raising and lowering the body. In addition, the child is working on improving body awareness.

The activity is designed for children as young as 2 years old and works on eye-hand coordination and the development of large motor skills. In addition, this activity requires team work and direct interaction between the child and the therapist/caregiver.
